Welcome to my website!
A friend whom I went to school with once said something to me... he had only known me as a design student, city-style, and when he found out I had horses, he said, "I can't picture you living on a farm" (ie, out in the 'middle of nowhere') "... this is where you belong."
Cut to a few months later. I was doing ditch irrigation and riding colts at a community pasture for a summer job, living on the ranch with the pasture manager and his wife. Fresh bread coming out of the oven at 7:00 am, can you believe that? Faye is no longer with us but she was a lovely person. She said almost the exact same thing to me, and meant exactly the opposite... "I can't picture you being happy in the city. You're a ranch girl – this is where you belong."
The two different parts of my life finally started to come together when I began to design for Ed and Laura Friesen of Wunderbar Arabians. When I went back to school to finish a degree, I decided to expand my equestrian work into a business, doing websites and advertising mainly for breeders. Now, with a Bachelor of Design from the University of Alberta, I currently do a mix of small business, corporate, and equestrian work, and have expanded into publishing with the online Sport Pony Magazine and the Canadian Arabian News.
In addition to riding, coaching, working with some of my own horses, I'm actively working on projects for clients across Canada and the US. Ninety-five percent of our new clients are direct referrals from current clients - you can be sure customer satisfaction is the highest priority. Please feel free to call with your special request, I am always willing to take a break and talk horses!
