Marquis Downs
In 2007 I started helping out at the local racetrack with E & J Stables. Daily duties were mucking, mucking, and more mucking, plus tacking up and cooling out. It's an interesting place and I learned quite a lot about a very different segment of the horse industry. I don't help out much any more but I do often go down during the race meet just to photograph. I hope to put out a photo book eventually.
