Price List
Photo Shoot - $125 first horse; $45 each additional horse - OR - $350 day rate. Mileage will be charged at 35 cents/km for locations more than 50 km from the studio.
5" x 7" - $20 per photo; $2.50 each additional copy
8" x 10" - $30 per photo; $5.00 each additional copy
Digital files - $20 for a digital file of any photo at print resolution
Photo CD - $125 for a minimum of 10 finished digital photo files
Custom Hardcover Book - For a beautiful keepsake, we can design a custom, hard-cover book with photos from your photoshoot. Additional options can be added such as dog or cat tag scans, documents from your pet's life, and photos from years past. Custom pricing depending on number of pages and book size/design; please contact us for details.
All prices plus 5% GST. Travel expenses may apply for locations over 30km from Saskatoon.
These prices seem expensive... When setting prices, we wanted to take into consideration the time that is needed to do a really good job. For the photo session, we'll try different poses, different props, different locations - wherever the creative fancy takes us. A typical session will last a couple of hours. Then, because digital processing can make such a difference to the final image, we spend another several hours processing all viable photos from the shoot so you have a fully finished set of proofs to look at. We put the proofs into an online gallery for easy browsing and encourage you to share them with friends and family! When you decide on the final photos, we hope you are 100% happy with the finished result.

Please take a moment to take note what copyright permissions are given for different options. When a photograph is created, copyright ownership remains with the photographer, even though you may purchase copies of the photos and certain reproduction rights. For more general information on copyright, please check out www.whatiscopyright.org.
Personal digital and print reproductions are allowed. You are allowed to take digital files to a print shop such as Wal-Mart or London Drugs and reproduce prints for your own personal use. You are also allowed to share photos with friends and family on Facebook, a blog, or a personal website, as long as our signature remains on the photo. We ask that reproductions be made from digital files rather than directly from purchased prints as the quality suffers. Additional print copies of a print you have already purchased are available at very reasonable prices (see above).
Commercial reproductions are allowed with certain restrictions. Photos may be used in horse for sale, farm, and stallion advertising and promotion both in print and online. Please include the Christina Weese signature or appropriate photo credit. Photos may not be used to generate revenue through sale of "the photo" as an item- ie, photos may not be sold as art prints, on their own or on various promo items (excepting farm promo items), without additional licensing.
